Travelling guide to Sabah for Bangladeshi Expats

Sabah is known for its stunning natural beauty, from lush rainforests to pristine beaches and coral reefs. It’s also home to an incredible array of wildlife, including orangutans, proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, and many species of birds and marine life. As an expat living in Southeast Asia, you may seek a unique travel destination that offers adventure and relaxation. If that’s the case, Sabah, a state on the island of Borneo, may be the perfect place for you.

For Bangladeshi Expats, you need to take special permission from PM office. Travellers need to seek permission one week before via email to MohdRafi.Jubahar@sabah.gov.my with the below information,

  1. Copy passport and visa
  2.  Air flight tickets with return tickets
  3.  Hotel booking
  4.  Purpose of the travel

If everything is verified properly, travellers will receive an approval letter via email within one week time. You need to take 2 copies of this approval email. It will be required during the immigration process to enter and exit Sabah.
